John Vernon had a great voice and great timing. John Belushi gets a lot of deserved credit for Animal House, but Vernon was just as important, in my opinion. He had to balance Belushi and all these young talented actors (hungry for success), and he did so marvelously. The guy was a pro, and will be missed.
