Fletcher's Boathouse has a website!

I still remember with great fondness a Saturday in late Spring of 1970 when Mr. Basom took the church youth group here to canoe and have a picnic. It poured the whole day - and we had a blast! All that summer, Edmund, Millie, Ed and I would go there in the afternoon to paddle around a little while. Swain's lock is a better place to hang out, but Fletcher's was much closer. It was still a very cool place to go. I bet I've not been there in, easily, 25 years. Gotyta remedy that.
