This is so D.C. these days. Take a good idea, (make bowling a little more upscale - some eatible food, some real beer, maybe a little cleaner surroundings), but then make it so expensive and over the top that you destroy it. I'm going bowling - not dining in Manhattan with Bobby Short. The article makes this sound so expensive and so chi-chi that I've no desire to even check it out.
