life around DC

Bicyclists around here have their nerve, arguing for anything hinting at courtesy or abiding the law. For years, while working in Old Town, I and the other denizens suffered from hordes of Schwinn nazis blocking or riding us down on the sidewalks, running stop signs and red lights, cutting off our cars, and general ass-holism. Arrogant, spandex wearing vermin.
As for the Beltway, I believe the citizens should have a right, (indeed, a duty), to kill anyone not going at least 5mph OVER the speed limit. They are beneath contempt and deserve no mercy - if they don't like it, they can take their Volvo's and block traffic somewhere else.
