Mercury poisoning

Perhaps it's all legit, etc. to evacuate whole regions when there's some sort of mercury "spill". But I, (and a lot of you reading this), used to PLAY with mercury back in the 60's. We'd watch it roll about from one hand to the next. I feel no ill effects, unless one counts my fondness for tea parties with Alice...
