Monterey! 40th Anniversary!

The Summer of '67 is now 40 years past. Unbelievable. Nowadays, folks usually talk about Woodstock, but in my opinion, the Monterey Festival was really the musical event of the 60's. It was the last time you'd really have music from AM & FM radio being played together. And it introduced the wide world to Jimi, Janis, Otis Redding and Ravi Shankar (in a performance that literally sold 10,000 sitars...), and a couple dozen other great performers. The film is essential.
