Synchronicity! I was just writing about this possibility a few days ago. I assume that the program involves a sophisticated equation where the amount bet is based upon the possible card combinations in a particular hand. Basically, betting on a very sophisticated calculation of averages. One problem is that I find it more than a little amazing that they eliminated "the luck of the draw"! Are you sure we'd still describe the results as a game of Poker? And I would love to find out how the computer got a Royal Flush, just when it was losing big-time. People have been shot for that type of "luck"...
