In interviews, Al is pretty disparaging about this song, which is a shame, it's one of my faves. If what's left of my memory still serves me correctly, it was released around this date twenty years ago. It was a sad time in my life, (and for several of you as well...), and that's nicely reflected in the wistfulness of this tune. Another good one to listen to after the third bourbon. Time passages...
