Beautiful song. Have seen Collins perform it a couple of times now. The best was in the summer of 76 or 77 at Merriweather with Roger and Margrete and my stupid date, whose name I've mercifully fogotten, (she spent the entire concert obsessively playing with one of those stupid little glow-in-the-dark wands that used to be sold at such events; what a ninny...). It was a beautiful clear night and I just laid back and let the sound gently wash over me, (while studiously ignoring the bimbo beside me). Very moving.
