You know, each year I love Halloween more and more. And I think it's because it drives all the worrywarts, nannies, spoil sports, fear mongers, tattle tails, puritans, and chicken littles batshit crazy. They go about every October, gibbering and moaning about how dangerous it is, how awful it is, how offensive to their delicate flower sensibilities it is, and that it should only be for children/adults/nobody. Yet, every year it continues, often getting more popular, certainly getting more profitable for the businesses engaged in it. It's the holiday they couldn't kill.
