I dont know if your familiar with Austin(TX)...but for live music venue's...it is 2nd to none in the USA. An event to attend annually is the SXSW music festival, which is well over 1000 band's on about 80 stages. I am an old school guy, being in my 50's. One of my favourite band's who relocated to Austin from Dallas(Dallas is my home) would have to be the "Butthole Surfers", they are one hell of a "live" band as well! Of coarse I am also a big fan of the "Ministry"...who also relocated to Austin from Chicago.
