First time I seen ZZ Top, they opened for Uriah Heep in the Garden in NYC(early 70's)I never heard of them...they only had out one album I heard (I was a big UH fan back then)but they came out wearing these shiny cowboy outfit's,no beard's... and alot of folk's boo'd them, they looked like a country band, I dont think many folk's even heard of them.But they started working... and they had the crowd out of their seat's rockin within 15 minutes of when they atarted playing. Later on they came out with Tres Hombres, which I actually liked alot.
