Falling In Love Again....

I decided to replace my old VHS copies of the Marx Brothers' movies with DVD's, and the sets arrived yesterday. I've been going through them, (have seen six titles so far), and just gotta say what a pleasure it is. I've easily seen Duck Soup two dozen times in my life, and even the rather lame Love Happy for 3-4 sittings - but I'm still entertained by those guys. Oh, not every joke works, but a surprising number still do; and if many of them might not seem fresh to a younger audience, it's only because they've grown up watching dozens of imitators - but this is the foundation. Those guys were just so sharp.
