I've always believed this type of research was very important, because if there is life elsewhere in the universe that possesses good mental capabilities, it seems more likely that their brains and forms of communication will be vastly different from our own. It will be useful to ahve developed techniques beforehand for attempting to bridge that gap. And I continue to believe in the possibility of ESP, and that that ability might be relied upon,in part, by dolphins to communicate with one another.
