Labor Day winding down

It it probably to the credit of social conditioning that even now, decades after I left school, that I still feel a twinge of dread and a primitive flight impulse on this date. I know that some folks have been back in classes for up to two weeks already, but Labor Day is still sort of the official end of Summer for many of us, regardless. There's no going back children - it's over. The carefree days are behind us, let the regimentation begin! Sometimes I think it was only because I loved the sights, sounds and weather of Autumn (and my beloved Halloween!), that kept me from going mad.
Sly and his family released Hot Fun 40 years ago. Incredible. I fell in love with it immediately; and every year, (that I've had a stereo available to me), I've played this song on this day. It seems entirely appropriate to post it here and now, (sometimes social conditioning can be a comfort...).
