Spam VS my ego

No matter what, I get spam on my hotmail account on a regular basis. I'd say at least ten emails a day. In the "early" days, (say, 15 years ago), it would be just about evenly divided between sex - porno, or "girls want to meet you", ie., prostitutes; or a combination of pyramid schemes or come-ons like "free mortgages", etc. The general view of me was: 1) I have to pay money to get sex; and 2) I have no money for the sex, and so need to hitch a ride on one of these schemes.
Fine. Thanks a lot, guys.
And now, almost all of my daily allotment of spam is trying to get me to purchase cheap drugs - mostly viagra or antibiotics. Apparently, I am now too dysfunctional and diseased to have sex at all.
Now, making people feel inadequate from advertising is an old phenomena, (just read the lyrics to the Rolling Stones' Satisfaction from 1965). But sheesh! It's just one wave after another of insult now.
