Sounds like the German government is full of shit on this one. I would think that the rules of salvaging wrecks allow for this. And the current German government isn't even the one who built the ship, (although a few of us think it still is....). Are the Germans going to also claim the rail lines they built in the Soviet Union, the forts they built in France, the (not-so) secret submarine pens in Spain and airfields in Tunisia? And why stop there? The kaiser's regime left crap all over in their colonies in the Pacific and Africa. Sorry boys, it's fair game.
