I'm not sure it's possible to write anything nice about the airlines or flying in general at this point. I'm not at the point of dreading flying, but I'm getting close. We only fly about once or twice a year, and yet over the past ten years or so have experienced the mechanical breakdowns, the nazi thugs of TSA, lost luggage, incomprehensible delays, waiting in eternal lines, and more than our share of clueless and rude staff. Certainly anything within 500 miles of me is to be driven to - no planes, no question.
