the future

Milgram's experiment is well known, (and has been immitated a few times by researchers who were looking for some quick and easy publicity). It's always influenced my life and decisions, particularly when it comes to jobs.
I've suspected for years the inevitablility of death on TV. Whether it will be state exectutions in Arabia, or some sort of neo-gladiatorial combat in Southeast Asia, I think that sooner or later such stuff will become fare for us. Some pissant country will sign a billion dollar deal with an "entertainment" corporation to put it on. The market has (unfortunately) always been there.
