It'll be interesting to see if a bunch of suits can trademark a unit of measure that's been used for decades in food marketing (when the clowns who are claiming that they "own" the term were no more than wet spots on the bed). Will Starbucks now claim the "cup" of coffee? Slabs of beef, jiggers of whiskey, magnums of champagne, bowls of fruit, racks of lamb, ad infinitum, (a term some other goon is probably trying to copyright). Common words are now considered corporate property. How pathetic we've become.
