105 degrees yesterday...

Whew! I suppose it is a testament to the air conditioning at the Manor and our horrible Winter that I can't say I particularly mind this wave. The roads and parking lots aren't impassable, I don't have to break my back shoveling the sidewalks and driveway; and as miserable as it would be, if the power were to go out, misery is all I'd have to deal with - and not frozen and broken water pipes. I think between the conditions and my age, I crossed the Rubicon this year - I really dislike Winter. Even 105 seems trifling.
