Himmler and alchemy?

I'd ahve to read the book and compare it to other reputable sources, but it is possible, or at least the basic story line is. Himmler believed in all sorts of mummery and was an easy mark if you knew how to phrase your cause to coincide with his notions of greatness.
I would caution, however, that there's now a whole cottage industry of writing books about "nazi occultism". A lot of it is pure rubbish. I am second to none in enjoying the Indiana Jones movies - but they aren't sources of serious information. Yet many books in this genre seem to have been authored by the script writers....
