"The Pond"

It'll be interesting to see what all these papers have to say. One problem is that I think documentation from other, (competing) outfits like OSS and the FBI would be necessary to give a fuller picture of any successes The Pond might have had, and the costs. I do know that Intelligence agencies tend to exagerate their importance and success, (and hide their failures and cost/benefits analysis). I also know that a great deal is made about the use of (so-called) ex-nazis in Intelligence after the war, but have never seen or heard of any good results from such collaborations, (just the usual unsubstantiated hints, etc.).
