I remember a little bit about this story when it occured. What strikes me now, given the detail here, is how suspicious, sinister and sketchy everyone and everything in it is. I mean, what a great cast and mystery plot! This was custom made for the likes of Peter Lorre, Sydney Greenstreet, and Rondo Hatton!
