More on the RIAA's war against music fans

Given the corporate swill that dominates the RIAA's offerings, I suspect that suing their fan base is really the only way they'll ever make any money*. It's interesting how many judges they've managed to put into their pockets, (or perhaps the proper description is to say it's amazing what they've put into the judges' pockets...), that petty larceny is now punished with million dollar fines, etc. As a former manager of a music store who prosecuted shoplifters, I can only sit back amazed at this escalation.
*If it weren't for oldies reissues I probably wouldn't buy any music at all from the majors at this point.
