New book analyzing Catholicism and the early nazi party

Very valuable to scholars, as the early evolution and formation of the party has been too little studied, (in my opinion). It would also be interesting to contrast Prussian vs Bavarian involvement and views of the early nazi party. The two groups are generally portrayed as representing divergent and sometimes competitive German subcultures. (It wouldn't really surprise me if such a study has already been done, probably in Germany, but I'm not aware of it).
