A wonderful site devoted to one of our (now lost) greatest motels. All of the times I was up in Wisconsin, I regret to never having visited, or even heard of, this Shangri-la. The commentary on the site is worth the price of admission alone! But the Gobbler does seem to live up (or down) to it. I was going to say that it's the Plan 9 of motels. But that wouldn't be accurate. Let's face it, Plan 9 was a borderline production at best. No, this motel is more the equivalent of the Star Wars Holiday Special. It's a classic, big budget disaster, worthy of cringing adoration! Enjoy.
