Robot baby

As I've said before, stuff like this leaves me cold.  I don't want a machine that talks to me, makes "eye" contact, etc.  The idea that I should treat a machine as anything more than a machine is repulsive to me.  I have plenty of human friends, thank you, and am in no need of buying fake ones.
