British WWII bunker now open

To make a long story short, an invasion of Britain was a very real possibility in late Summer and early Fall of 1940. It was damn close, I assure you. And most military historians seem to be coming around to the idea that it would have succeeded, (I happen to disagree, I think the British would have won - just barely, and at the horrific cost of the Royal Navy and RAF). The auxiliaries would then have come into play. It would have been very bloody, especially for the civilian population.
