Just bought a copy of this on DVD and watched it; probably the first time I'd done so in about twenty years. It really is a very good "classic" horror movie. Imagine a VERY good Hammer-type horror movie, but not made by Hammer Films. It even stars Christopher Lee. A wonderful use of atmosphere, nice spooky images, etc. I really like this. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys horror without all of the contemporary special effects and blood & guts associated with the genre these days.
