Seger doesn't seem to garner much respect or enthusiasm these days, but I've always been a fan, since I first heard Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, back about a thousand years ago. A journeyman rocker carrying on the Chuck Berry tradition, and adding some beautiful ballads as well. Seger was perhaps the first of any rock musicians to start to deal with the whole process of how to age (gracefully?) within the genre. I can appreciate that....
