C'mon guys, this is how I was taught to write, back in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades. Telling me that grammar should be changed because of what a bunch of hack American newspaper reporters* do is like arguing that criminals should decide what the prison rules are going to be. You'll get my comma when you pull it's keyboard key from my cold dead hand....
(*Some of the drones who write and edit the Post are barely literate - quite a plug for the company that owns and touts its Kaplan scam....)
