Interesting article, but the solution is obvious. For your biggest secrets, and your most secure communications, sacrifice speed and ease of access for near-total security: don't use computers connected to the outside world. Go back to paperwork, couriers, etc. I mean, this worked up to about 30 years ago. I'm not saying put everything out of reach of technology - just the stuff that you're really worried about. I don't care how many tech geeks China has. They can't come over here, break into a gated-guarded-locked-building, break into a locked and alarmed office, break into a safe, and get the secrets therein. That's what they had to do 30+ years ago, and they virtually never succeeded without help from one of the guards. Get off the Net, and you leave the geeks far behind...
