I absolutely identify with and love this article! For me, it was the old Queen Street branch of the Alexandria Library. I started going there, (and got my library card), when I was four. Saturday mornings, my Mother would take me in for a haul of books, mostly Dr. Seuss and dinosaurs. Later on, the city purchased a book mobile that came by much closer to the house. It parked in front of the local Baskin Robbins, so I lucked out like a bandit - ice cream and books in a single shot!
