You know, recently someone found a big wad of this stuff on the beach, and a bunch of you good people sent me the link, and I didn't publish; simply because I thought Ambergris was sort of known about by the general public.  But clearly, that doesn't seem to be the case, (I suppose it may say something about me that whale mucous is a topic not considered particularly exotic...).  So yes, by all means, scour the beaches for that lucrative lugee!
