Animal Welfare League needs to learn about animals

The above article is not unexpected. Coyotes are moving into NoVa, slowly but surely, and have been for several years now. My problem is with the quote at the bottom of the article from the supposed "expert" on such matters:
"Their environment is being taken away by people building houses, building developments."
Bullshit. This is NOT their environment. They are moving in - an invasive species. There were NEVER coyotes here until quite recently. Ever. If you want to stop development, fine, but lying about its affect by creating imaginary victims is pretty damn lame. No doubt English sparrows, feral cats and snakehead fish also object to new development...
