Sigh.  I disagree with Mr. Lincoln on a variety of important issues, and I am certainly not one to deify him, as some have done.  But I view acts like this as extremely distasteful.  The fact is that the Memorial is one of the most moving sights in DC, especially at night.  It is always in my top three places recommended for visitors to our town as 'must sees'.  People messing with it are just plain losers and bastards...
