I have always hated machines that "talk", and always will.  It's some lame-assed attempt by Pysch majors selling their degrees to corporations by insisting that we (humans) respond better to such "conversations".  I don't.  I will never be fooled.  I will never start treating my toaster or my hammer as if it's a dear old friend, and have a nice chat.  It is why I won't use a GPS - the first time some machine tells me that I've just got to do something - it's getting thrown out the window.  More and more, I'm identifying with an old comic book hero  of mine....
