This is a fairly well known story in mystic circles.  And it's a good one.  But I have serious doubts as to this supposed ability.  I would not be the first person to point out that if tulpas are real, then there really would constant and serious episodes with Santa Claus.  Millions of children, laser-focused on a character, with a hundred years and billions of dollars in reinforcing marketing, etc.  And yet - nothing.
