No Poe Toaster

Sigh. The original Toaster was really the only one. He was actually known to the curator of the Poe House, so it's not entirely a mystery. He apparently left the tradition to his son about ten years ago, who didn't treat it very seriously, and gave up on the practice a couple of years ago. It's okay, a lot of us still toast the old boy; perhaps not in Baltimore in the darkest night, but we still toast him.
