Interesting article on Password protection

What comes across strongly to me would appall most folks - the whole Internet thing is a sieve - and there doesn't seem to be any real solution to it - within context. The whole password thing is a mess, this article explains that quite plainly, and its solution strikes me as absurd. The idea that each of us become imitators of the Voynich Manuscript to protect a credit card is silly. Call me a hopeless Luddite, but I would much prefer that most important financial transactions and records be done through a good old fashioned paper method. It seems like every week there is some new headline screaming that a billion people have lost control of their credit cards, bank accounts, etc. etc. ad infinitum. That never happened, couldn't happen, forty years ago. If you want speed and (supposed) ease - just keep going the way that you are. If you don't want to be bothered by dozens of Rube Goldbergesque password equations, and security breaches every other day - go back to paper. I don't see any way around it.
