It's interesting how dangerous they kept this. The blunting on the lances was minimal, and no face protection! Even at these speeds, I can see one of the poles striking an opponent's chest plate, and swiftly sliding upward under the chin or into the face- snapping the neck or entering the skull. Well done, Lads!
