Another celebrity death that truly saddens me. Gene Roddenberry and Leonard Nimoy were able to create one of the major characters in American pop culture, (and most likely beyond that). I mean, think about it: there's Scrooge, Sherlock Holmes, and maybe a few others; but how many characters have that much staying power, presence, and influence?
