A remake of Big Trouble In Little China

I pretty much agree with everything said in this article, (and I love the video clips presented).  Rather than a remake, I've always regretted that there wasn't a (short) series of Jack Burton, hauling cargo from adventure to adventure, and subculture to subculture (Italians in New York, Irish in Boston, Cajun/Creole in New Orleans, etc.)
