Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Mengo in 1892

 It's believed to be the first use of machine guns by Whites against Whites and involved a fight between Catholic and Church of England missionaries as to who got to convert the natives of Uganda to the sweet love of Jesus.  My favorite battle.
