Happy Birthday Sir Humphrey!

a/k/a Nigel Hawthorne, one of my fave actors in one of my fave series - Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister. He played Sir Humphrey, the penultimate political bureaucrat. I've seen each episode at least three times and still laugh out loud. Although it takes place in Britain, the show is a perfect view of how the Federal government works. Eash episode is a mini-lesson in politics and governing. Sir Humphrey's explanation on why Britain needs nuclear weapons, ((because of the French)), is one of the best geo-political lectures ever given.
