For DC "Old Timers": a WPGC tribute site

This is so cool! In the mid sixties, if you were a kid, you really only ahd three stations, (all of them on AM), and those were WPGC, WEAM and if you were into Soul music, WOL. ((There were one or two more, whom I barely remember. WEEL broadcast out of some hole in Fairfax; I doubt they had more than a hamster on an exercise wheel for power, the signal always sucked)).

At any rate, if you remember any of this nonsense, you've gotta check this site out. They've got nice bios of the disc jockeys, station stories, and recordings of soundchecks and commercials from those times. There are some nice memories here. So here's to JA The DJ, Harv Moore, Bob Peyton and Tiger Bob, and to my personal fave - Cousin Duffy!!!
