a bad night in DC

I don't know how much it's rained in the past few days here; three, maybe four inches. And we've got another two or three coming in as I type this. The grounds around the Manor are a total swamp, with rivulets running between large standing puddles. There was one tiny breach by Poseidon into our basement two days ago, but we managed to beat that attack away. The air outside, even under cover, is like a cool steam. It is an unpleasant night, and a time for bad things.
