Happy Birthday to the Star Wars Holiday Special!!!

Perhaps not the worst thing to ever appear on television, but certainly the worst big-production to ever appear.  Wonderfully and irredeemably awful, from start to finish.  Absolutely essential.  Lucas has reportedly tried to find and burn all existing copies of it.  Cast member openly lie and deny they ever appeared on it.  A True Treasure of Shit.  Essential. Broadcast once, and only once, on this date in '78, (and yes, I watched it).
