I know that there are folks who have a real fright at the thought of bridges. I understand that. But aside from those folks, this is not a scary bridge. It's a big bridge, I'll grant you, but it's not a tough ride. Personally, the only bridge I've ever gotten shaky about going over was this one: http://royalgorgebridge.com/

My suspicion is that it's one of two things - a drone of some type, or a toy with the usual special effects that are all over the Internet. The presenters talk of the thing's size and distance, although I see no frames of reference at all. And I really don't see any obvious "proof" that what we're looking at is extra or ultra terrestrial.

I'm glad that he likes Alton Brown, he's one of my faves, as well. Adam Richman's show was awful. I like his personality, at least what is presented by him on the show, but hate the whole premiss that he works under. It's not food oriented, it's not eating oriented. It's just how much shit you can shove down your maw. He's not enjoying it, he looks ill and about ready to throw up the few times I watched the show. What's the point? I'd parallel with Bourdain's comment regarding what a family of poor folks must think of this.

You know, I grew up listening to Bill Cosby's comedy records. I've heard each of them dozens of times, and they still bring a smile to my face. I consider him one of the greatest standup comics of all time. And I loved his emphasis on education throughout his life. I really admired the guy, and considered him an American Treasure. But month after month the revelations get worse and the proof of them builds up. This guy is a sexual predator of the worst kind. What a bastard. I cannot tell you how angry and disappointed I am. And I cannot figure out why an army of criminal prosecutors are not after him. He needs to be put away before he hurts anyone else.
